We all love to party and celebrate with alcohol because it cures our many other life problems and also helps celebrate our great moments of life. But it comes with a hangover that surely does enough to destroy next day morning if not whole day. So its as important to know how to cure hangover as to know about the nitty gritty of brands of drinks.

As we all know prevention is better than cure so, Lets look at it in two ways :
1- prevention , 2- cure.

Prevent Hangover
 
The best way to cure Hangover is to prevent it. Let me discuss the remedies of hangover later. Lets learn how we could avoid it.

1. Drinking lots of water.

Your body gets dehydrated because of alcohol. By drinking lots of water before and during consumption of alcohol, the dehydration could be avoided and you will feel better. Afterwards or next morning drinking water will certainly help, however preventionary water intake is much much better.
 
2. Slow drinking

Eat fruits or vegetables to slow down the speed of drinking. It may be a slowly drinking that gives your body more time to metabolise alcohol , though metabolism rate may vary person to person. Slow drinking certainly puts lesser load on the liver and stomach. 

 3. Eat a good meal

From personal experience, I have noticed That The body is less weak next morning if eaten a good carb meal, may include Potato as its a great source of carbohydrate. Continuous eating during drinking certainly slows down drinking speed. Protein and carb help in preventing hangover

4.Multivitamin B complex

Taking multivitamin containing vitamin B complex in prior to consumption of alcohol may increases liver's ability to metabolise the alcohol.

5. Eat banana
Eat couple of bananas two to three hours of starting of drinking. It keeps up the blood sugar levels as well as maintains the potassium levels which would be lost while drinking due to dehydration.

Cure Hangover

                     Well, with all the prevention, the damage still comes out as a hangover. Apart from drinking lost of water to get re-hydrated, followings are the best ways to cure it

1. Coconut water 

Coconut water carry good amount of antioxidants and electrolytes such as potassium. Adding coconut water to first in the morning of hangover will mitigate the deficiency of dehydration and reduce hangover.

2. Eggs


Eggs are high on vitamin B and amino acids which helps in breaking down the toxins that are remaining in your body. Eggs also contains cystine that helps disappear acetaldehyde which is main reason for hangover.

2. Lemon juice
Lemon helps mitigate dizziness, headaches, sensitivity to sound and light.

3. Ginger
It has antibacterial and antiviral properties. In case of hangover ginger helps in curing nausea and vomiting

4. Tomato juice
Tomatoes are rich in vitamins and minerals. A glass of tomato juice has enough sugar to keep up your body sugar levels. Also put a little pinch of salt in it. Its easily available in the kitchen. After waking up in hangover a glass of tomato juice may help your body recover speedy. Also if i may suggest, prefer Bloody Mary if you will.

5. O.R.S.
Oral Re-hydration solution can be bought or made at home. A glass of ORS can help rehydrate body.  Two 2-3 spoon of sugar and quarter spoon salt mixed with a glass of water, and your ORS drink is ready.

If simply put, slow drinking and a re-hydration at regular interval is sure cure for hangover.
